| Very Red and Infra-Red Stars | Multi-variable star fields | Astronomical Projects and Targets of Opportunity | ||
As the title implies this is the page on my web site that links out to all my current projects. Some of these projects are quite long term with short bursts of activity once or twice a month but on the other hand some mini-projects or targets of opportunity last just one day.
A typical target of opportunity - SN 2007le in NGC 7721

15 x 15 arc mins, north is up, east to the left. 120" unfiltered on October 17th 2007

A feasability study - PGC 137972 (A) and PGC 89913 (B) in the "Zone of Avoidance"

15 x 15 arc mins, north is up, east to the left. 120" IR and 120" V on October 16th 2007. Note how the IR light penetrates the dust so much better than the green light does.
