Llangelynnin Church is one of the oldest churches in Wales and is dedicated to the sixth century St. Celynin, who is reputed to have founded the first religious settlement on the site. The church occupies a remote position near the village of Henryd, situated in an isolated position high in the hills of the Conwy Valley.
This is why we like slate gravestones - over 270 years old yet most of the text can still be read.
